A reality show featuring a boyfriend meeting his girlfriend's Dad ... one of the most dreaded moments ... a tough and scary challenge.
At the request of the girlfriend, the program arranges a situation where the unassuming boyfriend meets her ‘Dad’ for dinner for the very first time. Little does he know that the ‘Dad’ is a fake checking him out to give him the most practical trial lesson and prepare him for the real thing.
The restaurant is filled with hidden cameras and catches every moment of the conversation between a fake dad and the boyfriend. Will he behave correctly? Does he know basic manners? Once dinner is over, the boyfriend will find out that he has been tricked.
But this is all for the good. Even if it may end up in a disaster, it is only a trail and the real Dad is yet to be met.
The boy heads onto the real Dad with less butterflies in his stomach…is he doing better than before? The viewers get to hear how well he is doing via hidden microphone, and the show concludes with a grand finale of the couple looking back on the two most tensed moments in their lives, one with a Fake Dad
and the other with the real one.
