Figure Skater Yuri Katsuki had challenged the Grand Prix Final with huge expectations from the people across Japan but failed miserably. Wrecked, he was staying home secluded from the public when the undisputed Champion Victor Nikiforov visits him out of the blue with an offer to become his coach. He is baffled but accepts the offer and decides to take up the big challenge!
Meanwhile, Yuri Plisetsky, who won three straight titles in the world Junior Championship, arrives in Japan to work on the choreography Victor has made for his first senior program. Now the two Yuris are competing against each other and this pushes them forward.
