DRAMA REMAKE Angels and Demons 天使と悪魔 未解決事件匿名交渉課©tv asahi / MMJ Hikari is “an angel-like detective” who never doubts anyone. Ryusuke is “a devil-like brilliant lawyer”who believes in no one. They are assigned to the newly opened “Cold Case Anonymous Negotiator Unit” at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. Their highly confidential mission is to solve cold cases using “plea-bargaining,” a legal system yet to be introduced in Japan. Plea-bargaining gives defendants a chance to “bargain” for a better sentence by providing prosecutors with information about suspects. The new unit is to prove the validity of the system.
