Ayame Kajin is a beautiful female lawyer who, despite being highly regarded for her abilities and having a promising future, lives a life of solitude. Because she has always walked her own path, she disdains women who use "weakness" as their weapon.
One day, a captivating and alluring man named Iteya Minamoto appears before her. Iteya is a dangerously seductive individual who believes "love equals possession". Although he has a submissive wife, he is suspected of domestic violence against her and is also a suspect in the murder of a renowned university professor.
This incident brings together Ayame, the lonely woman who has never belonged to anyone, and Iteya, the dangerous man with hidden passions—two persons who would never normally cross paths. They are instinctively drawn to each other and fall into a forbidden love.
Ayame strives to prove Iteya's innocence, but what is the truth behind the murder? As the case unfolds, it triggers an unexpected chain of events, leading to even greater tragedies.
