DRAMA The Nurse X アナログナース ～デジタルってなんなんだよ!?～©tv asahi With strong government backing, digital transformation is rapidly advancing throughout the medical field. The healthcare industry is on the verge of entering an era in which “digital technology manages lives.” Standing against this trend is Akari Nasuda, a freelance nurse. Guided by her belief that “convenience makes people regress,” Akari does not rely solely on the latest medical equipment or electronic records. Instead, she writes down even the smallest changes in her patients in the handwritten notebook she always carries with her. Using the five senses as well as her own reasoning and intuition, she faces each patient individually as the ultimate analog nurse. Akari is dispatched to Momoi Medical Center, a major hospital undergoing transformation. Sshe is so committed to her analog approach that she even requests to be paid in cash. Even as digital transformation advances throughout the hospital, Akari refuses to waver. Determined to save people who have been left behind by the wave of efficiency, she takes on the challenge of discovering the “signs of life” that AI and data alone cannot detect—and saving patients through the power of an analog approach.
