Minare Tsutsumida works part-time at a soup curry restaurant. After her boyfriend dumps her and cheats her out of money, she drinks herself into a stupor and complains to a complete stranger.
In fact, the stranger she spilled her heart is the chief director of a local radio station and this man sees Minare's potential. She is soon given her own show on late-night radio and eventually blossoms into a radio personality.
Based on the popular comic books by Hiroaki Samura, the lead role of Minare is played by Fuka Koshiba, one of the most versatle actresses of her generation and a talented comedienne.
