Bunta is an office worker at rock bottom, having been fired from his company. After divorcing his wife, his savings were drained by asset division and alimony, leaving him to spend his nights drifting between internet cafés. Then one day, he passes the final interview at a certain company and hears an unexpected message from the president: “Starting today, you’ll become just a bit of an Esper, and you’re going to save the world.” When he arrives at the company-provided housing, a woman he’s never met welcomes him home warmly. It seems he must live as “husband and wife” with this complete stranger. For some reason, she is convinced that Bunta is her husband. None of it makes any sense. Bunta’s new job as just a bit an Esper is to save the world̶but under a bizarre and unreasonable rule: You must not fall in love with anyone. Release Year
