When criminal cases occur across multiple regions, investigative agencies from each region must cooperate in solving the case. However, the battle between the MPD and the local police prevents cooperation.
To overcome this problem, the MPD launches a special task force called the “Borderless Investigation Unit,” a mobile command team that races to crime scenes in specially equipped trucks.The Unit is granted command of the joint investigation for up to 72 hours as it moves from scene to scene.
One of the trucks, called “Number One Star,” serves as the investigation headquarters and is operated by seven detectives from the Unit.
They each have a different background, with a past that made them an “outsider” within the police organization. Yet, they come together as a powerful team and move around following the criminal and the case, getting closer to the truth with unexpected strategies!
