Kaede is an elementary school teacher who loves mysteries. She was introduced to the joy of mysteries by her beloved “grandfather,” a former elementary school principal who raised her in place of her late parents. Now, at the age of 71, her grandfather suffers from dementia with lewy bodies, and from time to time he seems to see strange things that do not exist in reality…
One day,when Kaede tells him about a mysterious incident that happened around her, she notices an unexpected change in him. Whenever the topic turns to mysteries, her grandfather begins to unravel the puzzles with clear logic and striking precision, as if the truth were appearing right before his eyes. In those moments, he is nothing less than a “great detective” who builds logic step by step to reveal the truth.
From then on, Kaede begins bringing the everyday mysteries and incidents that come her way to her grandfather…
