Ryoko experiences an injustice from social prejudice at the police force, where she was relegated to a police station as a punishment for her having an affair with her boss. She is now assigned to investigate a case of 15 years ago; “the shooting of the Prime ministerial candidate.” Miyata, who was deemed to be the next prime minister, was shot by a sniper… Ryoko remembers it well as it was the day her mother was killed. As she investigates the case, she feels other detectives seem to have their own motivations on the case. Which one of them can be trusted?
